Built as a hospital first, a classroom always.
A community hospital that trains its own nurses
HAJI RASHIDAN BEGUM & HAJI SAHAB JAHAN Educational Institute and Hospital was founded to serve two connected needs of rural Kasganj: dependable healthcare, and a steady supply of well-trained, locally rooted nursing staff to deliver it.
The campus in Village Ganeshpur, Post Ganjdundwara, houses both functions side by side — general wards, an OPD, a labour room and pharmacy on the hospital side, and anatomy, community, nutrition and computer labs, classrooms, a library and a multi-purpose hall on the education side. Students train where care is actually happening.
Learning by doing, from day one
Rather than treating clinical exposure as a final-year add-on, our students rotate through the attached hospital's wards, OPD and labour room throughout their course, guided by faculty who also work in patient care.
Every batch is trained in our Anatomy Lab, Demonstration Room, Community Lab and Nutrition Lab, so that public health and preventive care get the same attention as bedside nursing.
- ✓ Structured clinical rotations inside a live hospital
- ✓ Dedicated labs for anatomy, community health and nutrition
- ✓ Faculty-supervised, small-group demonstrations
